Travel Log: Maplewood State Park

Weather: Cool and pleasant

It was a bit too cool to swim, so we sat on the beach. On our second day we went to Campfire Cooking 101 that was put on by the campsite hosts. We learned to make sandwiches, pigs in a blanket using hot dogs and biscuits, and got new ideas for camping food instead of just hot dogs! We also went hiking on a trail we'd previously got lost on, but didn't this time.  Lots of friendly raccoons at this state park!
