Weather: Sunny and cool, drizzly in the morning

We wanted to get an early camping start in 2014, but the weather was still freezing in May so we chose to rent a cabin for one night with heat to visit this park. Thanks to some journals started by other visitors to the cabin, we were able to figure out how to turn on the heat around 9PM. We also added our own entry to the journal.

We hiked the Hiking Club trail but somehow missed the password. We enjoyed that this park was very quiet with few visitors, though going so early in the season meant little wildlife as well. The loons were out for the season as we spent many hours listening to them.
