Gooseberry Falls was the first park we went to in our week long anniversary camping trip to hit all the parks along the North Shore.

After spending a day and night in Duluth, we set up camp here. On Saturday we hiked and saw the park's waterfalls. After a night of rest, we attempted to take the Gitchi Gami Bike Trail to Split Rock State Park. Due to the hills and other terrain we're not used to, we did not make it far by bike and opted to drive to that park instead.

This park unfortunately had many, many, tourists swarming around, but our campsite had a hoarder squirrel who was stashing pea pods for a good part of our stay.
