Weather: Warm, overcast

After being unable to bike the 8+ miles of hilly terrain, we ended up here by Jeep. We first had a picnic on the shore of Lake Superior. During our lunch, we were visited by a squirrel who was quite interested in Jason's potato chips. We also fe him a few cucumber slices to balance out his diet.

After eating we went on a 5.9 mile hike of the park. We opted to not stay overnight at this park since sites were backpack in ones. We were able to see beautiful views of Lake Superior and of the lighthouse this park is famous for, but forwent then $9/person fee to take a lighthouse tour.
